Just looking to no is there any major differences engine wise between a jap s14a and a uk one. Like if I had a full jap engine wit loom and ecu can I throw it straight into a uk spec one ?

sr20det uk - vvt (known as nvcs), noticeable on the inlet cam side of rocker cover
sr20det jap - non vvt and inlet manifold is kinda upside down (low port I think that's what it's called)
odd plug will be different I suppose when it comes to electronics
The fact is what is it like when it works......
they all swap into each other iv put vvt s14 into s13 so as far as i see nissans sr20det all fit albeit a few connectors but nothin you cant sort handy enough,
just put your bare jdm engine into the uk shell w/ loom and away ye go....
