Humm cheers for that man, i got impatient on deciding what to do so i bolted them up today, if they come through like that in a few weeks again ill be a bit gutted, are yours steel and chrome dipped?

just bolted them together gav, not on the Car yet if that's what ya mean
Didnt take alot of photos through the process because it was a mad dash but
Masked up either side of the Vally so ill get a nice straight finish,


then Flat to the mat laying beads of silicone torquing up bolts, laying another bead to fill the vally, get rid of all the Air pockets in the silicone before it cures, then rip off the masking tape and you get this,
have them inside nice and warm while the Silicone sets,






befor i did that i Was wondering what the offsets where so finally figured out how to measure them and came up with this,

11" overall edge to edge,


150 From one edge to Hub face,


150 From center face to the outer edge,


Bead to bead 10.5, 150-150 = 0

So that works out at a nice 18x10.5 et0

worked out when my 3" lips arrive the fronts will be 18x10 et6

If you want that flare you will need to cut the inner tub and roll the inside of the quarter out with lots of heat, then weld a plate back in, sounds drastic but it works.

So passed the NCT and only got 4 F***ING months Test, W@nkers!!
so came home and Put on the adjustable arms and coilovers and went to change
the Exhaust,
then decided i couldnt wait any longer and went at flaring the arches
Part of me wanted to cut the inside of the arch and weld it back after, but i couldn't be arsed doing that TBH as i am going with over-fenders anyway the look of the flare wont matter,


Heated the paint up and after about a hour it still seems like it just wasnt going to Flare.
so decided to kick it up a notch and got abusive with it and it finally started to come




kept going until it looked like the Wing was going to cave in,
then mounted the wheel up to see if i got the 30mm







not finished need to come further down the wing but gave up for tonight.

Bit of paint flaked but i expected that and its not smooth all the way but im happy with it

that is with the Adjustible arms set to the same legnth as the original arms so once the tyre is on the wheel ill dial the arms into place and fingures crossed the tyre tucks the flare,

Cheres man, tell me about it bitches be dropping there panties for the oldschool 16" alloys haha. sorry didnt see you, you defiantly where not in your yoke anyhow where you? getting tyres tomorrow or Tuesday fitted by that lad across from into the west on the way to frenchpark, forget his name, he has a bead blaster as i got him to fit the tyres for my golf before and that was some headache LOL

Dont put over fenders on it youll ruin the lines of the car, just camber the wheels in will look 10 times better

ya i think thats him, Who is beside Melvins? didnt know there was anyone in there? christ i must have had the blinkers on i didnt see either of ye, sure im half blind anyway LOL. must do that cheers going to wrap the lip in tape and masking tape so they sont scrape the dish while they are at it
