Portlaoise is perfect for beginners in my opinion.. When i go to Mondello to watch drifting i dont feel confident enough to drive it properly yet. its more aggresive drifting compared to portlaoise, Im gona do three or four day's in portlaoise before i venture into Mondello..

The comp in Port Laoise is just a friendly thing on the Sunday. The Saturday is a practice day, so it's a weekend of drifting.

I was out first time on track at the last Mondello track day. Never even drove the car before. Just go out and drive the thing.

Its a tad bit intimidating when someone is sliding right behind you, but sure you have to start somewhere.

The clutch disappeared on the car after the first run. It was some rush, especially after a dacent spin. Roll on March!

I'd reccomend mondello lad ya can't beat the rush of drifting on a proper race track.
Doing the pd section brings a smile to your face.
I did my first day out in mondello a while ago. Was the best day i ever had even though I had lots of violent spinouts I got the hang of it quite quickley.
as long as you don't go manji up the straight you have nothing really to hit. Except hay bales.
I know a lad rolled his car in mondello the weekend but that's a rare occurence.
You can pretty much go balls out into every corner without having much to hit.
