Default Getting a seized calliper pin sorted

    Hey,
I'm after changing my rear pads and discs but I've got a seized calliper pin. Didn't notice until I went to put everything back together. First time and all that.. Is that something a mechanic can usually fix if I drop the calliper in to them? Or should I just buy another one? Havn't a hope of fixin it myself I don't think

Or does anyone know anywhere in Galway that fixes/refurbs em?

    Cheers!

emm, not sure, I'd say so yeh. The two springy bits that push the calliper open when it's not in use. The 2 bolts come out of them when yer changin pads. Bottom one is well stuck tho, dunno if I'll be able to get it un-stuck. I'll take it off again this eve anyways and see what I can do bout it. Probaby need grease and stuff!

I did surely man - cheers! There's 2 small holes in one of the boots, and I got that shitty spray can of copper grease in halfords and its pure watery. But it'll do as it is till I get new boots and grease. Hopefully this wknd. Would any of the parts shops around galway have the right boots i wonder
