Is it possible to fix a turbo that has play in the shaft and would it cost much??

The last time i was down with him, he couldnt rebuild my turbo to the spec i wanted, he gave me a number of a lad that would do it and it was going to cost mad money (would of been cheaper to buy a new one), so I ended up sending mine to england.

if its ball bearing your more than likely gona need the core replaced,talking about 800.If its journal bearing,price obviously depends on what needs replacing...
