I think calling it "style" is stretching it a bit. Those hovercraft type kits look really dated now IMO.

More people seem to be going for a more subtle OEM type look these days instead of the fibreglass abortions that have been around for the last few years, which is great.

Each to their own I suppose..

I'd have to agree , they had their time and place i suppose ..like flares.
As you said yourself, sure if they float your boat , put em on your own car
I know for a fact that i wont be putting em on my yoke anyway

like wat chris and twincam said block of timber or get a good low jack and go under the diff , have to agree with them lads

I think you're missing the point a bit here, why bother with any of that stuff if it's a hassle and isn't any benefit to performance?
As I said, if it's for looks then it's a question of personal taste.

Why shop for clothes instead of putting on the first thing you see if its just a question of personal taste?

It might be a hassle but how you design your car and how you make you and your possessions unique is what makes them personal and makes your things a statement of who you are

Jack it up by the diff or get yourself some diy ramps.
I think theyre worth it for the trouble, depends on the car but it suits most imo

all our cars are stupid low...lol

half an hour makes a jacking point between the two chasie legs at the back with a bit of 2" box and a welder. one of the first things that should be done to a new shell.

for handyness i use a small two tonne jack and i have a black line drawen on it so i know how far in i need to go to be under the jacking point, yes lazyness not even looking under to see if its in the right place but i havent missed the spot yet, il never have another drift car without one made.

i agree with this man! most yolk with big skirts arent that low if there road cars they obv cant be that low and if there track cars they hav ta get up on a trailer! but most lads arnt botherin with em anymore neway
