anybody know if u can run a steel sunroof in a car in prodrift or has it to be blocked off by a steel plate

Should be able to by last years rules anyway, I had factory steel one in the e30 and no questions asked whereas Barry Leonard had to remove and plate off his in the 14 cause it was glass.

in 08/09 i ran a glass sun roof on the jzx90, had tint on the inside and still had inside slide cover and passed scrutiny every time.

As above its hit and miss with scruitny, so if you want to be 100% sure to pass take it out and plate over it, or else take the chance at the car logging day and you'll still have time to fix it before the first event.
