Which gearbox in r32???

Howdy,

just wondering which is the better gearbox to go into the r32 (rb20det) i heard the box in the r33 gts-t is a better box?? also would a r32 GTR gearbox go in??

Not sure about the gtr box but the r33 would be a stronger box alrite!

The r33 gtst box will be fine, the Gtr box is a different clutch set up being a pull type not a push and is also for 4wd, the r33 gtst box is just as good. The rb20 box internals I'm told are the same as sr20 box internals, decent enough but crumble with torque....

r33 box yea stronger! but! ya need a propshaft! ya need messing about with speedo etc good upgrade for a drift car but road car wouldnt bother! as mick said there pretty much the same as a SR20 n there are plenty of big power sr20 running with standard boxs! rb20 wont be a prob ! plus rb20 box are cheap so why bother,

i like this response lol!! literally my 1st skyline, have a few quid to mess about with not quite sure what to do, yes she is my road car but down the line when i get the hang of it ill be puttin it out in a few drift days
