Got another quick spin in the car last night and its crazy responsive! Its also crazy snappy though! Ive driven my share of drift cars at this stage, admittedly mostly S bodys but also Skylines, Twin Cams, a few of the bigger Toyotas aswell, but I've never driven anything as sensitive as this to driver inputs. One of the reasons on the steering side is that the power steering system were using has a variable pressure system which is speed sensitive, so when the car is stopped it offers a lot of assistance but when it's doing, say, 100mph it offers much less. Obviously this isn't ideal for drifting so we bypassed it, but now it thinks the car is always stopped, so the steering in unbelievably light when you're on the go. We'll sort it out in time, but for now, its a matter of getting used to it.
Also the FC3S is a bit tight in around the front arches when you start to get some extra lock in there, so a narrow set of 17" low offset wheels may have to be sourced. We are modifying the hubs tonight and were heading for Mondello on Friday for our first proper test, so I can't wait to get some settings dialled in and get some time in the drivers seat and make friends with this beast!

We got it going properly today in Mondello. Few small probs but nothing major. Its mental to drive. The engine is crazy and it's snappy as fcuk. You really gotta be on top of it but it seems fast. Some more work to do before Round 4.

Yeah there were only 4 cars there lad, it was ideal cos ud need a fairly empty track to test this thing
