    Default airlocked bmw 320

    anyone know how to bleed 320 [not head gasket],just put engine into compact ,no water getting to heater pipes or circulating through the system.is there another bleed screw other than the top of the radiator,cheers

    jack up the front of the car . remove the top water pipe from the radiator and fill it with water as much as you can get in . put the pipe back on . remove the bleed screw and fill it till it starts filling the coolant resevoir . put on the rad cap remove the bleed screw and start it increase the revs till the water and air starts coming out and make sure the heater inside is on full hot run for a minute top up do this maybe 2 -3 times replace the bleed screw and run it up to operating temperature and make sure you have hot air in the car that should do it its annoyin but its the only way really
