Smile My Rx-7 FD Type RB

    NEW PICS Pg. 4

    Well, here she is :P
I picked her up back in November after swapping my Accord Type-R for it, I definitly came out of that deal better off anyway.
The engine was rebuilt at 95k and is now at 116k so she's still going strong.
    Mods :
    17' Sparco Ns2 Pythons
    Auto Exe Racing Dampers
    Double Din Head Unit
    Nardi Steering Wheel
    Piaa Spots
    HKS Turbo Timer
    Mushroom Filters for the twins
    Aftermarket Cat Back
    Madza Speed Fibreglass Spoiler
It's standard besides that which is the best way to get them really.

The car is an animal it goes off the clock in about 12 seconds and is very tail happy :P Unfortunatly though it only does 200km to the tank (€100 to fill these days) So that's €1 per 2kms
But I have a starlet for everyday so it's all good.

    Plans :
I have Metal plates at home which I must put on, the front one is a motorbike plate.
I'll be getting XXR 526 Wheels when they come in next month. (Nice Dish, Polished lip, black centre)
Alarm/remote start arrived post today and I'll get caddyshack in bandon to fit it if I can.
Snap off boss kit coming in the post soon.
    De spoiler it
Spray the splitter black (eventually get a carbon one)
Get side skirts which will black/carbon too
Get a few stone chips sorted out
Hopefully get a set of Red Brides in the more distant future.
    99 Spec rear lights
99 Spec front bumper and lights
    2 new spots
Get rid of the reflectors on the side of the car
    Clear indicators
Mabey a rear Diffuser in the more distant future

And all it is is rumors! People are just afraid of rotary, me inclusive, but I don't think there anywhere near as bad as people think, once there looked after that is!

Deffo agree wtih ya there twailbait. They say you need to rebuild them roughly every 60k kms but there have been ones that have lasted 200k + without needing a rebuild when they were looked after properly. Most people are just afraid of them going bang so they stay away from them but they're fine when they're looked after and serviced regularly with the proper stuff.

I'll see how she sits with the new wheels and I'll see do I need to go lower after that. It scrapes on speed bumps now no matter how slow I go and there are lots of speed bumps around me:P
