Yet more money I don't have, ha, I'll just stick to loosing my two fingers so.
unless you have small hands id get the tool
If It Aint Rubin, It Aint Low Enough
Oil filter pliers, motorfactors will have them cheap, just a big adjustable wrench thing really!
Some boy, get a new filter, try using a pair of rubber gloves to get it off first,
If not get a tool, when your using the tool be careful not to grab anynof the starting loom, I grabbed a few wires before in the dark, bastard to repair, mate did the same also, if ya want a lend of a tool gimmi a shout
Yea, might be able to find a tool, (hopefully) thanks for the heads up on the wires, it's the sorta thing I'd do ha.
Hopefully I get it sorted![]()
Easiest way to remove it I found if you don't have a tool was to jack up the car, crawl in under until you see the filter under the intake manifold, then with a long flat head screwdriver and hammer, TAP the inside rim of the filter anticlockwise from underneath. 5mins and no fingers lost. Mine was wedged on though no way it would move by hand.
