    ha the joys when the car fights back ....an oil san plate for the oil temp and press gauges bring the filter out 20-25mm more so its a bit easier

    Oil filter pliers, motorfactors will have them cheap, just a big adjustable wrench thing really!

    ha ha save the fings for fish fingers any cheap ass filter wrench will do its on the drivers side under the intake manifold twist it anticlockwise to loosen it

    Jeez I sound like a stingy fecker, I was talkin bout sorting myself out with oil gauges. Right I must check the motor factors. Thanks lads!!!!

    Some boy, get a new filter, try using a pair of rubber gloves to get it off first,
    If not get a tool, when your using the tool be careful not to grab anynof the starting loom, I grabbed a few wires before in the dark,bastard to repair, mate did the same also, if ya want a lend of a tool gimmi a shout

    Yea, might be able to find a tool, (hopefully) thanks for the heads up on the wires, it's the sorta thing I'd do ha.
    Hopefully I get it sorted

    Easiest way to remove it I found if you don't have a tool was to jack up the car, crawl in under until you see the filter under the intake manifold, then with a long flat head screwdriver and hammer, TAP the inside rim of the filter anticlockwise from underneath. 5mins and no fingers lost. Mine was wedged on though no way it would move by hand.
