update time.

after drift jam at punchestown i had a check around the car and noticed that the loom in the wheel arch was getting worn through by the tyre.

so the only thing to sort this was to move it somewhere safe and protected.

out came the snips and labels. happy days

read about some people having issues with heat and melting etc....when running the loom through the engine bay, so i decided to run it up through the chassis leg itself.
i used this gland, altho not very pretty it offers better support/protection for the cables, and at the end of the day this is the whole object of this job.

then i split the loom into 5 or 6 groups to allow them to pass through the chassis leg with ease and put conduit on each of the groups

then simply fed them up through the chassis leg and soldered them all back together

gave her a check over to see if everything was working as should, and all is 100%, great success.i like !

few smaller bits were then added.
proper+ gear knob

and this lil snap-on gadget that i couldn't pass up.

at the track iv been encountering some issues during different situations with getting the rear of the car off the ground when changing wheels. so i treated myself and the car to this sweet lil number.
