    right so here's some of the bits i'v been gathering to up the power in the car.

    apexi super suction induction with z32 afm


    nismo 555cc injectors


    yashio factory manifold

    megan racing a/m manifold heat shield


    tomei rocker stopers

    GReddy T518z turbo


    when i got the turbo it needed a rebuild. so started to strip it.



    and when i got the actuator off it, it revealed a big feckin crack in the actuator port.


    so now i needed a new cartridge and a new exhaust housing.
    lesson to anyone buying a secondhand turbo, take the actuator off and inspect the port cause you cant see around there when its in place.
    so i got a new cartridge and new exhaust housing. the housing that came with it was a 10cm housing, after some research i went for the 8cm housing for more responce and quicker spool which should suit drifting better.




    then i put it all back together so now its like a brand new turbo.


    hope to get this stuff on shortly after the DI day out in goldstone on the 20th. dont want to chance it before then incase i run into any compilcations.

    iv looked into this a bit and the free floating bearing system that GReddy have used in these turbos are supposed to allow the turbo to spool up as quick if not quicker than many other ball bearing turbos of around the same capacity. but time will tell. we'll see when it goes on. i believe that the 10cm housing is a bit like an on off switch alright, but the 8cm is said to be a much smoother build.

    Why didn't ya opt for an external wasregate....... It will be laggy but hopefully you'l learn to live with it........ Iv a t78 on my gtr and she is one laggy mo-fo.......

    You must be aiming for big big power are you........?

    basically i didn't go for external waist because i don't know f##k all about that kind of setup to honest....
    I'm going for the GT2860-5 A/R 0.64 setup on the GTR. so that should be fun i must get a goo at your GTR some day
