    Default anyone good with alarms small problem

    ive a k9 alarm in the car there just having a small problem with the siren ive been doin alot of work on the car so i could have hit a wire or something etc.

    problem is the siren volume is after going very low when its set off or when it beeps for opening the doors you can barely here it any ideas?

    Check the wiring from the alarm module to the siren, could have rubbed somewhere causing an area of high resistance.. That said, sounds more to me like the siren unit is at fault. Maybe try setting it off, and while it's going off probe the feed wires and see what voltage your getting, if it's a 12v take the siren out of the car and feed it 12v from a good battery and see if the volume is as bad!!

    Check the earth goin to the siren you might not be getting good contact especially if its attached to anywere thats freshly painted
