I know this is nt the site for this but probably better info and mechanics here than vagdrivers....
Its the gf s car.
Its a pd150 golf. Its not right at all bout as quick as a 90bhp now! Basically we ve taken it to two mechanics in wicklow one for 4 days the other for 2....They did nothing with it only waste my time. As far as i know the turbo is fecked there s a sludge in the intercooler pipes so guessing the seals and all are gone. Its smoky too and goes into limp home sometimes with emissions workshop. Also think wastegate or something is fecked you can hear a chatter from the turbo when reved high So anyone know anyone that can just fix it as a nixer or garage. I know a recon turbo won t be cheap. Any help appreciated.
