bust pipe

took my s14 out 2day and when i was parked up i cud hear a pipe bust and water pouring out.pipe seems to b at bak of engine but cant reali see it,car doesnt seem to b loosin water,any info appreciated on what the pipe is and wot its for??

could be one of your heater pipes they come from the driver side of the engine behind the inlet mani and go across the fire wall

Sounds like a heater hose all right! Common enough that they burst in my experience.. Tight for space but not the worst to get off, what ya could do is cut the pipe where the split is and insert a copper pipe or similar..

Doesnt the water line to the turbo run behind the engine as well?? Just another option anyway.. Sounds awkward whatever it is..
