Thumbs up What Boost are you Running?

    Well All

Just wondering what boost everyone is running? And what mods have you to run that boost? What ecu/management? What Fuel?

Reason i ask is that my Sil80 has a few bits, s14 turbo, High Lift Cams, Fmic etc and im only running 0.7 (Standard). Is it advisable to leave it at this or can it be turned up to 0.9 or 1 bar?

Interesting to see what others are running. Cheers

running 0.75 bar at the mo i did have it at 1.1 with the power fc but stripped that out and dropped down the boost so run on a standard ecu for a while, will be gettin steel tubbs soon so might need some injectors too and up the boost again to about 1.2 or 1.3

I'm running 1.1bar on a greddy turbo, it depends what pressure the turbo can keep
producing power at aswell, too much pressure and the turbo will only produce hot air,
    which wont give anymore power!

running 1.1 bar , iridium spark plugs, uprated fuel pump, 2nd decat in, fuel cut defender.

When i take the 1st cat out then ill turn it to up 1.2.

With both cats removed it will reach as high as 1.6 , thats what the car will boost at if you dont have a restrictor ring fitted and a bost controller . But for ceramic JSpec turbos its safest at 1.2

We call this BPU (Basic Performance Upgrade)

At first i thought this was crazy turning it up so high, but lots of guys i know have ran BPU for years with no problems
