well lads iv a 180 which was lyin up for a few months has a black top sr20det!!
i went to the shed to start it which was fine after i jumped it but now it wont rev over 1500 it rises to 1500 and cuts back and rises and cuts every time???
wondering wud any 1 know wots up thanks by the way i fitted al new exhaust bits, mani and elbow and all and deres a red light for exhaust temp i think on in the dash wud this be my problem?

Sounds like a sensor of some sort? did you take any out and not replace them back into exhaust anywhere?

deres a sensor that is in the standard cat?? but no place for it on the decat or down pipe so i never fitted it back

Did you go de-cat? if so thats what the red light is about, no need to worry about it, put out the blub if it annoys you.

It's probably a boost problem, check all you pipes for leaks and that they are connected up properly, otherwise check you afm, try to get a loan of one to see if it solve the problem

ya dude dats the sensor i left out because of the decat deres no place for it....al pipes are good car was running perfact wen we test drove it after fittin all new stuff its idling perfact and all just wen i reach 1500 0r dat it cuts off the revs

i cant drive it due to the revs it will drive away but only to 1500 haha barely boostin it seems like fueling problem to me it was empty but i half filled the tank before starting it..... and let it run till it was at running temp so it was well blead by den! its strange how it was runnin perfect before it was sittin up

sensor in the cat is only a temp sensor,
would not affect the running its just brings on the exhaust temp warning,
sounds like possible afm

change your fuel filter lad if she was sittin up wit notin in her and you fired in a drum ov petrol it shook up all da shit at the bottom and when u started her it would have went strate into the filter!
