So I haven't updated this in ages. anyway back to January / feb I think. I decided to take the car out to mondello for the first time ever. and I have to say I had a ball at it... it was really wet and slippy but still a lot of fun. even though having shitty standard brakes which made my hydro not work . I felt I did well enough..












The day out itself was pretty good.. I was put into group A which was basically 95percent Pro drivers , and just 3 or 4 of either Semi Pro or just rookies like myself.

Here is a little look inside the car im trying to keep it looking proper Purist /Grassroots Japan as I can

So after mondello I bought some paint. It was 175 euro for 10litres so why the fuck now paint the car? so we set out to do that. my cousin david is a panel beater and also owner of a sweet road going Kouki 180 and 32 skyline himself so he wil be taking care of anything if I crash the car ha!






We also fitted this Dmax/ nismo style bonnet vent that david had in his shed for years..

and lastly , you can see from this picture that the rear lights are fully red... we bought some tinting paint which turned shit after it was painted... so I will change that after I break them or something..




also picked up these skyline brakes and new hydro cylinder aswel. so they wil be fitted in the coming weeks..






and putting back on the rear spats and kit ... I also have a FRP front lip aswel im waiting on side spats . over the next few weeks as ive started a new job im going to be concentrating on some power upgrades . and the car wil be off to gripfab for a roll cage. my main aim to have to fun but compete.

as for the tinting paint, all you gotta do is use a meduim grade compound, that should make them clear red, thats waht i had to do with mine

but the red will fade out so i recommend using red tinting film, a lot handier and wont fade

Yeah I had the film on it. but because there actually Lexus style kouki lights using film tint become bubbly and not smooth because of the bumps.. so we tried the paint. ill try that compound so I never new about that. I don't want them that red they look horrible for the look im after. I don't want to buy genuine kouki lights just yet until I get the cage sorted and what not..

So haven't updated this in ages since I painted the car... ive currently finished off the Front Kouki Kit. with FRP parts from Dori Rori on here..... went out for a few drift cars, had cage built and few bits like that. so heres some pics


So had a cage built to IDC specs by Hade Motorsport Fabrication in tullow co.carlow






Bought a DW super cool rad. Mishimoto alloy rad shroud and Syntec Fuel pump and fitted all from Wez at WKD!




Front end finished off. I have a spare bumper and thinking of taking out the REG plate. but not sure if the bumper would loose strength or not/./

SO over the next few weeks. ill be trying sort a broken clutch pedal / Cylinder . paint inside the car and sort all that shit out and maybe have the car logged for the IDC and maybe just do one mondello round for the pure expierence!
