    Red face Manual boost controller vs Electronic boost controllers?

    As above know even less about boost and controllers and all that jazz than i do about everything else Whats better will only be going for a reliable 300ish bhp

    electronic 1 is alot safter and id reakon it would hold boost better, the buddy had a manual 1 in this car before and little didi he know it happend to turn the boost up itself went from .6 up to 1bar luckely he noticed it b4 damage, that my opinion, people use electronic ones for a reason

    apexi avcr ,stop bein cheap stevo and bite the bullet ull have it forever sure and theve differnt functions im no whizz on any of this gear but it does the job good strong unit etc etc also ya can vary the duty cycle on the boost to suit your turbo size and responsiveness ,theres some myths to wether this does work and show a difference etc but how an ever its there as a function also i think it plays a helpful addition to when mapping ! Im sure one of the whizz'es on here could tell ya exactly , Id be interested to see what im saying is correct meself

    id go wit the new model blitz controller.. they rnt cheap bt seriously accurate and alot of functions...

    had a manual 1 in my old s14 and exactly wat ian sayd they are all over the place threw it out after 2 spins

    If you want to keep your costs down get a adjustable actuator.
