decided to go with acl race bearings as most people tend to go with them!!havent herd they last 10k tho!!! its a track car so ill get alot of use outa 10k!haha anything better thats affordable to go with other than acl?? opinions please!!!

Only did a small bit today, took the gearbox off thats being changed for this year too have the new box already, then took the clutch off an loadsa meat left so ill use that still took the fly off to thats in good condition also removed the lower sump.will remove the pistons tomoz and check the crank etc!!!

Well stripped rest of engine as far as crank seen enough at that stage!!! found that there is damage to all pistons and on 2 of them the rings have got squashed, theres light marks up along the bore nothing major but the top of the bore doesnt look great so im thinking new block,piston and rings!!!
Any one have a s14 block in good condition!!

Sorry to hear the bad news there mate.would ya not buy a ready built engine work out alot cheaper?
