Sil80 Rebuild For 2011!!!

Well lads built the drift car last summer an was out 6 or so times in it only for it too overheat and loose compression!!! Im hoping to strat prodrift this year cars fairly up to spec just needs a few things so im goin doing a full engine rebuild with uprated parts!!!
Heres a few pics of the work so far, guna start buying parts once its stripped peice by peice as moneys tight!!!

Sound lad, only doin a hour or so a night so very slow but no rush at the moment!!!!

best of luck man i blew the headgasket aswell on mine and decided just to replace the headgasket but next thing i knew i had gotten a bigger turbo custom intake manifold reworked head reshell the list goes on



the last time i saw that car a sledge hammer was about to be used on the drivers rear quarter lol

haha thats true got a smack at rosegreen alright,its staght again,color doesnt exactly match but shes a drift bus!!!!

Took head of today and the headgasket was in shite taught it had a metel headgasket it only had a standard one!!!!
The bores look good no scoring really could do with honing the bore as its fairly shiney an smooth,
Head looks ok but needs to be skimmed tho.
Will remove pistons crank etc tomoz if i get time see the condition of them an check tolerances!!!
