    Default Bolt on arches jzx100

well decided to sell the ssr minervas only, gonna put the kranze's on.

dont wanna spend a grand on gettin the right camber to pull the wheel under the arch, so looking at different options.

have always been a big fan of bolt on arches.

do ya have to cut into the current arches before boltin on wider ones?

i know kieran had these ones for sale:

my chaser has very flared arches as is, including some work on the rear door, so i dunno if i could even bolt on arches.

this is with the kranze as she would sit now

    what yas reckon?

I have a picture of that spiriant chaser with the arch off and it's been cut. Well butchered more like lol I think it would be a shame to hide your arches because they have had so much work done. Are they filler or steel? Maybe they could be flared a little more to cover the tyre, your not that far off. You need about as much flare on yours to get the Kranze to fit as I did to get the grids to fit....

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

    @copeyhagen

its hard to call, i reckon your arches are possibly a combination of both welding and filler, as that would the only way to make them look so perfect.

why would it cost a grand to get the camber right?? are arms that expensive???

yeh the arches are done well, theres a wedge been added into the bottom of the door to give it the angle.

another option could be to sell the kranze and try get something else with a low + offset, but i really like them.

only one company do camber arms, and theyre like a grand.

although tom or carpo or somone said they were testing out some jap ones a while ago, that they might be able to stock them.

also, had a tyre off one of my rezax and it looks like they have been welded. did you split them wheels you bought off dw nikki that were welded?

    cheers

Well my arches had a little filler along the edge. Even though it didnt look it, it already had a fair amount of work done to the rear when I got it. Even still it went the extra half inch no bother at all. Looking at yours if you could flare the lip out that might do.

Rear arms should be no more than €500 euro for a set....

It would be a shame to sell them for something a little narrower...

thats jap "3 piece" wheels for you some are welded some arent no never had them split, way too much work and may have ruined the wheel!

you could sell the wheels but then you would be back to square 1 looking for other wheels (which is a pain) and you would have no idea if they would fit either till you put them on! feckin wheels! im in the same boat again , making the equips fit and what not

surely carpo could get you in second hand camber arms from japan???
