    Default What to do 180sx.

    Want to iron out a few things.. As I've realised its going to be built, not bought...

    97' 180sx Blacktop.

    Filter.
    Intercooler.
    Cat-back.

    I want it running sweet before I continue to go forth and drive the shit out of it...

    ------[few questions below]------

    My cars cooling system.. Has...erm.. just water... (added/droped some anti freeze in it there the other night)., but what I want to know is, what is the ideal thing to put in the radiator?....

    Which spark plugs should I go for?

    I reckon I need a de-cat & downpipe.. Is it worth forking out for an elbow at the same time?

    I need a boost up. An AVCR is ideal put so is its price tag.

    Eventually I'll try fill it with mobil1 15/50 but thats for later...

    Pull the bottom rad hose off and dump whats in the rad tom, refill it with decent coolant...

    Remove standard cat and batter the living shit outa the inside, now you have a decat!

    Yup elbow is worth getting..

    Manual boost controler sub €50

    Oil and coolant first. Get your base right first then once you have a good base go from there. Mushroom Air filter, decat, elbow, 4 branch. Before turning up your boost get yourself a good boost guage and a walbro 255 fuel pump, then get your boost controller

    He wont need a 4 branch for a long time!!

    Give it a proper service tom, plugs, fuel filter oil filter and 15w50 mobil1 oil

    Plugs Ngk bcr8es they are gapped correctly for the sr and are heat rating 8 and super cheap cause they are copper.
    No need to take off the bottom hose off the rad just undo the drain plug on the rad at the bottom.
    Don't go crazy with the boost or you'll melt your engine.
    Pop in a uprated fuel pump and don't buy a second hand one.remove the restrictor in the hose going to your wastegate to increase boost a bit it won't increase by much but it will still be safe
