I am using a Nistune and very happy with it, cheaper than a power FC and just as good really.

I think if I HAD to go aftermarket on a SR I would fit an Omex 600, great value ECU.

Motec is the bussiness but comes with a high price not sure if it is really needed on a basic drift car either.

the ecu is only as good as the man tuning it,you could give one tuner a motec and he could make a ballox of it,and give another tuner you power fc,nistune or alternative and transform the car,its down to what the tuner is most expierenced with,
is it road or drift car?much spec?budget?all of this must be taken into account, for instance the likes of the motec, gems, autronic, haltech can sometimes be over kill for what you need, but no doubt are the business,in race cars,

pick who you want to map your car, discuss you spec, and also your budget, thats what i do when a customer wanting to get a ecu and remap it,then he will give you his expierence and info on whats best for your options

A proper ECU is never overkill.
