HELP rb20det checking it over

hows it going, im going to look at an r32 tomorrow, just want to know is there anything to check that is common fault on them the lad said it has a flat spot up in the revs, never said where, i just thought fook it il go down and hav a look at it anyway and decide then,

so any advice greatly appreciated lads

Had a couple of these. coilpacks, afm, fuel pump and rusty fuel tank oh and i split the shaft of the turbo in two and found half of it in the cat when i ran it at 1.8 bar boost great fun till it went
