    Default Welded diff + 16s...

Right so I'm getting the ould spare diff welded tonight...just wondering if anybody has much experience with BMWs with welded diffs...

Basically not sure weather to mess on the 15x7s or the 16x8.5s...reason being the 16s are just about legal and the 15s have enough meat to feed a family for Christmas

I've been playing with a few empty junctions and what not as I'm learning the ropes of the car and when I had the 16s with the open diff she was a pig to slide and get around, with one 16 and one 15 she'll go in one direction, again with effort, but now with both rears being 15x7 she's going around no bother...still one direction and with an open diff

So my question being which is the better option in terms of wheels for some messing tomorrow night?

the wider the better tbh , unless you cant spin the wheels because of lack of power
