    i did it reciently

took all wiring and fuse boxes out of engine bay and extended the wires i needed to make the engine run and the lights work, fuse boxes are now in passenger foot well under blower

    yes its alot of work

it was worth it i think....main advantage is when my car goes on fire again it cant melt any sensors and fuses etc

With the lights did you keep the original switches around the steering wheel???

Did you happen to take any pics??

yes i kept the stalk switchs at the wheel....im one for flashing lights mid drift like a t1t

i have a few pictures of one or two stages, have one with dash and all out etc and then one finished.

could take more specific ones if you like of it finished etc

the main engine loom i now have coming out of the bulk head behind the intake plen, to do this it was a simple unplug and re position coming out the new hole, everything reached as before so no extending wires there.

the loom which goes to the gear box, alt starter etc, you will notice that there are three main plugs which connect to the fues box beside the battery when i relocated the fuse box i had to cut off the connectors at the fuse box and lengthen the wires so they came out the same hole as the main engine loom. in doing this it means when i want to remove the engine all i do is take off the three connectors and two connectors at the gear box. only other major wire is the live but not so much an issue for me as i was already running a kill switch settup so i relocated the battery to behind the pass seat and the cables reached easily, obv one from battery to kill switch then from kill switch i took to the fuse box which was now in pass foot well and from there out threw the new bulkhead hole to the engine

most of the work envolved for me was the lights as there are alot of wires for a 180 with the pop up motors etc, i bolocked all prevous holes in bulkhead and around wheel arches and drilled new ones behind the front wings near the door hinge, from there i took all wires up into chas legs and then to the front.

you will have to extend for elec fan and afm but other than that its not too bad just time consuming.

i strongly suggest its done with dash and all heater components removed, will make it ten times easier.

    chris
