    Default Polo GT

Very disappointed I need to sell this. Really had planned on keeping it in storage. My Corrado hasn’t shifted so I need to advertise this. Only reason its going is that im looking at buying a house. I bought the car nearly two years ago. I went to buy it with the intention of breaking it but realised it was immaculate and certainly worth keeping. Car was driven on a daily basis for 8 months and has since retired to the shed. All mk3 polo problem areas are perfect with this car – Battery tray, petrol tank filler pipe etc. Car must be close to 100bhp and drives lovely. Gets a great reaction where ever you go in it.

    1991 VW Polo GT – NCT’d till 2012
    Engine:
    1.3 GT Multipoint injection
60,000 odd Miles – Good history (will check for sure when home)
    4 Branch stainless exhaust manifold
Stainless Custom Souhans exhaust with two inch outwardly rolled tip
Not loud – Still two silencers – Just nice sporty rasp on full throttle.
New Fuel pump – Old item was faulty
Fully serviced – Oil, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs
    New battery + alternator
Rocker cover painted and bay fully cleaned
Mk4 Polo 6N rocker cover surround

    Chassis / Suspension:
Full Weitec -80mm Lowering Shock + Spring combo
    New antiroll bar bushes
New front brake discs + pads
Rear Drums serviced (Shoes + cylinders)
New Petrol tank fitted – Old one was leaking
    4 wheel bearings changed

    Exterior / Body:
    Very good condition for age
Silver blue in colour (rare colour)
    Full GT plastic arch kit
G40 optional front fog lights (Rare as hens teeth and worth a small fortune alone)
    Red stripes on bumpers
Tinted headlights (Very subtle tinting of reflector edge)
    Black front badge
    G40 rear lights
    13 x 7” Front
13x8” Rear Revolution 4 Spoke modular wheels ( black centres and polished lips)

    Interior:
    Immaculate condition
    GT semi bucket seats
    Rev counter
    8 ball gear knob
Stealth back shelf that holds two hidden 6x9 Pioneer speakers
    Uprated Alpine 10cm Dash speakers
All inner trim present and in good condition.
All it needs is a headunit – Ill probably find a Cd player in the garage to go with it.
Has AutoWatch keyed immobiliser installed inside.

    Bad Points;
Drivers side front wing has a dent – Could be removed by dent man easily enough
Passenger side front wing had a small repair at some stage on the front edge near the indicator.
Not really noticeable – Just being honest.

Rest of the car is mint. This car is an absolute bargain for anyone. Probably one of the best bang for your buck cars available. Extremely reliable, low mileage example with strong money spent on it in the last couple of years. Full NCT till 2012 and ready to go.
    Price - 2200

May consider a sensible cheap PX unfortunately..
    Cheers
    Cliff
