Fukin poxy steering pumps, racks leaks

The time i was driving for the short space i was on, was absoutly fookin savage! Never was so happy driving a car till today, savage speed, 3rd gear driftin, linked honda into turn 2 flat to the limiter in 3rd... unreal!

But Disaster struck about 11:30am, no steering at all! I mean it felt like it locked up.. Pump was making a awful racket & no fulid in the tank... Topped it up and found a leak, the banjo bolt on the main pipe for pump to steering rack had come loose and oil pissed out everywhere! Tightened it all back up, got more fluids thanks to Eric/Amy & another lad in that black laurel.. Back together and waited till after lunch, come lunch time i had no leaks that i could find, not loosing fluids at all...

Then went and qued up first in the line, waited about 10 mins and i was the first car out, no other cars followed me, did honda & turn 2, then was waved in by marshels, i didnt have a clue what was wrong... Oil stains on the pit lane & track They where really sound about it and gave me a bitta advice etc.. Went off and checked it again from where it was leaking and no it wasnt that..

Now the car was soaking wet, getting pissed on the heavens open all the lads will tell ya, i was out fixing it getting drownded! So when i went back lookinf for another leak i couldnt find any, partly because the whole car was soaked and be very hard unless it was a maor 1 which this wasnt but still was a leak!

Went and washed the car, underbody etc, incase when the pipe came off / expansion bottle overflowed the oil lodged in places and the subframe etc so tried washing the whole lot off to the best i could with a wank of a hose, would have been better to take a piss on it insted.. Moved to a clean area and still was marks of oil, So that was the end of my day because i wasnt going back out to reck the track with oil, make it even slippery and ruin the track for everyone else!

So loaded her onto the trailer and left it there... All in all i had a good bit of time, progressed alot with the car, able to handle it much better and was happy with how i got on!

Brakes wernt great but they didnt stop me... had to hold onto them 1 or 2 times cause they didnt lock up and then when they did i was in the apex of the corner, but just primed them with a tap of the foot brake and it was ok then...

Great day, delighted with the power of the 2.5 even though it broke another gearbox or clutch!! in two days out! Went well up to 3o'clock or so and plenty of track time!

Sound to Colm and the other lad for the push after

Why did you point that pic out? God!
