    Cool Bmw 1.8i Evo

    Hi,my first drift project:
    I started in January 2010

    Base- 4 door 93 Bmw 318i M40 engine
    swapped with S50B32
    e46 wish bones
    all around pollybushings
    X-brace
    No name back box
    new sachs cluch
    Bc Racing coilovers
    new rad
    new and relocated oil cooler
    extra fan
    3.91 welded diff
    sparco prodrive bucket seats
    wilwood hand brake
    extra wheel lock

    Plans:
    Wide arches, welded roll cage and practice,practice....

    How did you add the extra lock? And what difference do the e46 wishbones make?

    Thanks lads,blusrule shorten knuckles and steering rack spacers,e46 wishbones are wider and nothing catching

    Sweet!!!

    Were you stripping down all the loom to make it tidier for a drift car in the pics as you don't need to do any of that for dropping in the S50.
    New oil-cooler and better lines is a good idea! You'd be sick of the original lines getting cut by the pulleys.

    E46 wishbones give alot more castor and are a good bit wider. They are (or were now really) on the white M3 Compact too.

    An ECU re-map now and you'll be flying!


    where did you get the x-brace? Looks good!
