i have to say i always though it was a nice car but when i see it in the flesh when i collected them rims of ya i really fell in love with it reminded me of that sexy knights red ae86 for some reson....

i dont see whats wrong with stripping it and doing all the chassis work on it even if it is over kill for what hes putting in it i say fair play for all the work it definly will do no harm but what id he doing putting a sohc in it?? even with the dohc beams id be wondering if it was worth the effort and cost over the 4agze, was there something wrong with the 4agze in it??

Was very close to picking this up myself at one stage, then unfortunately Si had that bit of an engine problem and it all just kind of fell through. I had quite a few plans for it. But the 4agze wouldnt have been touched. If anything he could have looked into converting it to turbo surely? It is a very strange one, would love to know his reasoning behind the sohc? I cant understand the sense in it at all....

its odd, cause when the guy came to collect the car off me, i asked him what the plans for it were and he said he had none, haha

but i had been talking to him since and asked him theory behind the beams engines and he told me its for reliability which then makes me think he still want it for road use i dont know much about the beams engines but surely it will be slower than the 4agze am i right?...then when i asked him why not sr20 it he said he was sick of turbos,

have to agree with you killian the car was lovely when it first came in to the country but i got shafted when taking this car NOT DOCCO'S FAULT but the guy i was getting it off told me that the ssr mk2's were coming with the car and then latter found out yer man was lying. wasnt happy the car defo would have had 14"'s all round... im no saint either i completly changed the look of the car also but hey there only cars

and this thread is not here to slate the guy doing the work, i think it is great what he is doing, just a weak weak engine choice..

haha gem love your comment!! winner
