Is there much of a power difference between a non vvt twin turbo 1JZ and the vvt single turbo 1JZ?

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

A lot of people seem to go with the single turbo conversion! Is this just for less lag or more reliability or what?? Its an expensive set up compared to SR but i suppose its the only way to go if your after for huge power

it sounds like the 1j would be the best option

    LS1/LS2/LS3
Simple, light, compact, more tuning parts available than any other engine in the world!
    No need for:
    aftermarket ecu
    intercooler
    boost pipes
    expensive jubilee clips
    braided oil feeds
    turbo
    ext wastegate
    etc

and if you want more than 600bhp, then you can force feed it and head for even more power

    Just a thought
