    copied from driftworks.com

With high revving SR20DET engines you run the risk of the rocker arms bouncing off the lifters and even snapping at very high RPMs.
This is especially of concern if you have upped your rev limit, if you're running aftermarket cams or if you spend a lot of time on the limiter.
These stainless steel rocker arm stoppers bolt on just above the cams and rocker arms to ensure that this doesn't occur.

Note: On the UK spec SR20DET engine, you will need to cut a small portion of the webbing off the inside of the cam cover to fit these. Just ask if you would like details on this.

Note - the use of rocker arm stoppers comes highly recommended by Bee-R when using their rev limiters as these cause extra stress on the rocker arms

anyone wanna swap s15 helical lsd for 1.5 or 2 way...

some swaer by them some dont.

People say you need them for your drift cars (SR ones) as its always on the rev limiter and high revs, and it stops the rockers flying off their arms etc.
Some people will shout at you all day and say you need them, but some of the top Brands in Japan have said they do not like to use them.
    Its all down to preference.
If your rocker arm is going to go, and rocker arms stoppers (RAS) are present, what happnes then? Will it mess anything else up in the engine?...
Would you rather a rocker arm going, or something worse?...

    Hard to know...

On RB engines they are not needed as they have a different rocker arm set up.

if the rocker arm stoppers are fitted the rockers wont go thats the idea! but if it did happen, i supose youd drop a valve, which can happen(rarely) when rockers go even without stoppers fitted! belting them off the limiter is the main culprit for breakin rockers so go by your own driving style i supose!

Rocker stoppers are a complete waste of time... Im revving my red sx to 8750rpm...When I had the rocker stoppers in I broke rockers...Every single time bending the top of the valve...Basically the stopper was touching the rocker at high RPM smashing it...
If anyone has rocker breaking problems on a medium hp sx the answer is Brian Crower valve springs...Not rocker stoppers...
For high HP stuff...Full Solid lifter kit with monster 300+lb double springs and heat treated rockers...But this requires ALOT of head modification!!!

    10.5sec 1/4 mile @140mph Fastest s14 in Europe down 1/4 mile...
