    Default 1jz engine conversion

    im a big fan of the jz engine as the power and torque as standard is unbelievable and i was wonderin what would i need to buy or change in my E36 318is to make the 1jz fit

    well depending on where you get the engine, which will be more then likely a auto, 1jz obviously, a gearbox(r154 or w58) in my case i have a r154 that i got out of a mk3 7m supra, so i need the bell housing from a 1jz that was manual, then you'll need a 1jz flywheel and clutch, then you'll need a custom prop and the conversion mounts,

    Don't put it in a BMW, if ur gonna do anything stick a M3 engine in it

    As pole drift says m3 you cant go wrong plenty of power and torque but stick with what you have for now and when you can drift upgrade. Weld that diff of yours and give it a go

    wel to be honest i couldn't agree with you more after thinking it through ill stick an m3 under the bonnet and ye dats what im doin with her at the moment i have to weld the diff

    Just get an M50 and weld the diff

    I have an M50 in Hildi with an open diff and she'll slide no bother in the wet
