Roll cage for a sun roofed 180sx

Iv been lookin up competitiion rool cages for 180sx and for some reason they dont suit sun roofs!!WHY??Whats the difference?I want to build a pro drift car out of my road 180sx!!I'm a steel fabricator and was thinking of making 1 bt Is that allowed if it conforms to regulations??I read the regulations page and it doesnt say anything about hsving to buy 1

a sun roof model is 2-3 inchs shorter on the loop over the top
most lads cut the cage, but it safer with no sun roof bud
but your gona find it hard to get a sun roof model

oh crap!u serious?I was unlucky to end up with a sunroof alrite cuz its bin causing serious probs!Never agen!i tink im not alowd sun roof for drifting either

did u try roco...? he is a site trader here.. as for the sunroof u can just plate it up, he has done loads... hope this helps

dunnedrifter has a sunroof, but it plated up do
also got his cage made from roco

like just there differance between a sunroof model and non sunroof
but be worth getn a price of roco bud

Just whip the sunroof out, replace it with a sheet of thickish alminimum, rivet it down, then get a panal beater to isopan it & spray (or do it yourself) Job oxo! then just get a normal cage for a 180sx without a sunroof and it will fit perfect.

because the motor on the sunroof model makes the height inside 2 inchs smaller hence for a different cage. But if you want to keep the sunroof well you gotta get a custom cage made of search for a bolt it cage for a sunroof model..

the cage in my ps13 is out of a sunroof 180 450euro and its urs has a bolt in door bar on the drivers side so handy for a road car
