I'm sorry if this is in bad section. But can somebody explain me something about insurance and tax prices in ireland? I wanna buy in next year Nissan Silvia S13 and leave this awesome sr20det engine. But i need to know exactly how much i'm gonna pay 4 all this stuff. BTW it's really true that TAX is so high?

Yes, unfortunately. Tax is nearly €700 a year for a 2 liter engine of any kind.

Insurance is not too bad. Even if its 2000€ per year its still good. In poland u getting per month from work about 400€ monthly(!) and u paying about 1000€ for insurance. But 700€ TAX per year??!! ;( so baaad. Ok thanks Peter 4 quick answer.

Insurance on my s14 is around €1800, which is not the worst but still frustrating because my last car was a legacy twin turbo, well quicker than my s14 and my insurance on that was only around €1300.
But having said that, the back of my leggy rarely tried to pass me out.
