@ ali-d1936- Its a 5 door. Dont know the car but I had one with similar spec. Should have highline interior, armrest, fogs, electric windows, sunroof (at least mine did and was a 110bhp 99). Good pull out of them with cheaper service parts than pd engined golfs. If its got high mileage it should be fine once its been serviced regularly otherwise turbo could be pretty tired

he told me itneeds a n75 valve and its only 5euro if that was the case surly ha would have fit it himself. dont want to go driving it if it needs one and the turbo blows up on the way home

The n75 valve controls the turbo boost. If the car starts to boost too high it will cut into limp mode automatically to prevent any damage. They are around 35 new i think, could be the maf too but these are all cheap and easy fixes. For that price its well worth a look anyway.

ya its worth a looks and not a million miles away i just dont know if i want the hassle of fixing it, iv to go to Dublin airport wednesday night to pick up someone so i just need something thats good to go

if i wasnt so stuck id go up and check it out and probably take it. TBH
