    Default R154 Gearbox Oil

My car is being a pig to get into gear these days so I reckon(hope) an oil change will help. What to buy? And where?

I was told use Redline Oil. It took three bottles of Redline XT90 (i think XT, it has a yellow label). Not cheap at 18 quid a bottle but its supposed to be good stuff

    EDIT: MT90

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

Ok, where would I get it? Did it make much of a difference to your gearbox?

€22 a bottle. Crikey. Wouldn't want to spill any anyway.

I went to Proparts beside Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. I actually got 3 bottles today for the Silvia. 65 bucks for the three. They just get them from Couture, same price, saves the drive!

Not hugely Greg, my gearbox is was a little notchy downchanging to second, always has been, and after changing it its still a bit notchy, although definately not as bad. I just heel/toe on downchange and it's perfect, no issues.

My gearbox isn't notchy as such. It's just sometimes it won't go into any gear at all for a while when I first go to drive it, then 4th and 1st can be a fucker to select.
