    Question All Ireland drift event

    Hey Guys,

Iv been thinking about this and i said id get other peoples opinions on this.

Why isn't there a combined championship between PD and UDC???

Prodrift ran the super series this year that saw events in the UK as well as Ireland so i was thinking that PD and UDC could work together and have a combined championship like the super series that would involve drivers in all of Ireland.

They could operate like they are now and have their own separate championships but i think it would be cool to do this.

It might even help the sport to gain more media attention from the likes of RPM or newspapers.

    What do yea think??

most of the udc lads even do prodrift, so pd is already kinda an "all ireland" event already

Not the case actually. Some of the UDC regulars venture down to PD on occasion, but it's not the norm by any means.

PD stage some excellent events. That fact can not be disputed.

We (Sideways Racing) have some mighty plans for 2011 that are beginning to see fruition, so things are progressing nicely on the home front.

All I can confirm is that I would be open to discussions on the subject. I am pretty easy to reach, so I'll leave it at that for now
