i have spent alot of money on tools and 90% of what i have is teng i find no problem with them or there warinty just walk into my local dealer pick up what ever broke (normally allen key or torque bits never had trouble with other stuff) walk up to the counter hand them the old broken one and say im taking that one grand job done!!! but i no all the lads realy well there so they always sort me out on stuff,

as for people saying teng or crap this and that i put most of the storys down to the person useing them! i have never once rounded a nut or bolt with a teng socket or spanner unless the nut or bolt was already damaged in which case it would round with what ever make of tool u put on it

the only down sides i find with tend they can not make a decent pair of snips or vice grips knipex is the only snips! i even have a lidl snips in my box that id better than the teng ones i have and would only ever buy irwin vice grips and tengs new line of rachets are dirt do not but the fiber/plastic type as they fall apart and the metal ones if you are getting them make sure you get the ones that screw apart not the ones with the circlip

Teng will do the job grand for anyone servicing their own car's , for everyday spanner jugglers ye can't beat snap on-top notch tools, MAC also very good , facom do great drivers ,i'd personally never buy a teng rachet/ breaker bar any pliers/grips screwdrivers or toolbox off them just not a worthwhile long term investment,,

dont count out halford pro tool's either. i use this 150 piece ratchet and spanner set and a set of the flexi head ratchet spanners and have had no issue's with them for nightly and weekend use

i have this milwaukee impact gun too. it's a beast and very cheap at that price

I don't get peoples opinions on teng, where is the rubbish about rounding bolts etc coming from? Not from genuine Teng or from anyone competent in using them.

I got my first Teng box over 10 years ago and I still have it and the vast majority of the tools in it now. The only time I ever broke a Teng tool was when i wasn't using or treating it properly.
I admit that they have one line of ratchets that's are prone to damage if they are dropped but all the others have no issues. 2 years ago now I bought over 5 grand worth of Teng hand tools and some Teng specialist tools and still have no issue. I've never had reason to consider any other brand.

While there is no denying they are good tools, I find some mechanics seem to think of snap on as a status symbol of some sort.

Teng all the way, i have a set of Teng tool 1/2" and 3/8" since 1999 and still have them, never had any problems with them. Their screwdrivers are legend too.

Snap on are great tools, but vastly overpriced imo. Lifetime guarantee doesn't cover you for people with sticky fingers so better off going for the cheaper Teng option i reckon.

Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most
