If you dig up an old thread to ask a question, people are just going to rip the piss.

Plus, a little more information would help you get a proper answer.

If your car is spluttering around 4000rpm but then picks up again a few hundred revs higher it sounds like your coil packs are on their way to the grave yard.
Try borrow a few and swap out your own to see if that solves your problem.
