He can drive as is, just struggles to push into 1st & 3rd gears, there is no hydro in the car, only normal wand so relocating a hydr (also) would help him.
I dont think its going to be an option though tbh.
But,
Ok, so the show must go on and finish how i meant to start, cause i hate letting something i started not get finished!
Clutch on, got the flywheel skimmed, fitted along with an organic Exedy plate.
Mint low mileaged S15 gearbox i had as a spare for my own drift car
Nosed into the garage, for a supposed "quick" engine drop to allow Paul continue his planned work once the engine was dropped...
Nothing goes to plan that quick!
It starts to look like its very possible to make an attempt to be ready for Portugal...
And finally, the engine is mounted on its blocks, got some wiring connected up etc, and tomorrow i gotta bolt the gearbox up with cross member, put in prop shaft, along with still adding the remainging things missing from the engine bay area, and complete the wiring..... Very possible the key could be turned within the next 24hours....???
Some new belts also bought and fitted.
Big thanks to Paul & ALex for the help today getting the engine dropped in, finally![]()
