My understanding is yes you should be able to cut back to the furthest back section of the bulk head "provided there is a vertical plane there", witch look like there is.

I'm running Wisefab on a S14 ,great for drifting but It's definitely not suitable for grip racing.
Better off going with the driftworks hubs type set-up.

They're 6.5" et 45 I think. I'd type March brakes & no issues with them. They're the same width & offset as stock S14 rims.
