Smart thinking though !!
So if they test the handbrake in the nct , as in just make sure it works when they're inside , will it work the same way as a standard handbrake
Now that is impressive................fairplay......is there someone doing these already?? Cause i could see you maiking a few bob if your clever about it!

Don't they check the handbrake cables in the NCT?
Or are you leaving the cables in place for this very purpose :)
how very james bond of you. well done:cool:
not sure about all the in's and out's but I'm pretty sure all that's needed is a lock and release handbrake
I wouldn't go that far..... Probably just tour the east coast lol
I'll name it the 007 handbrake
cheers everyone for the good feed back
I might be doing another soon.
Going to try with near zero cutting of the console
Nice work, everyone will be doin this now!
that is sweet as!!
though in the event of the manufactures thoughts when coming up with the brainwave of an emergency break operated by a seperate system than the system that isnt the emercency 1..what happens?
GEAR DOWN AND DUCK FOR COVER!
ha its pretty dangerous but its win!
looks the job, if ya could do them without chopping up the consoles EVERYONE would want one!
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice clever chap i see this taking off
i had this done a few years back on my drift car because i did not have the money to buy a ready made one it worked well but with the short lever you will have to give it a good tug make sure the piston is being pushed back straight. nice job i never thought my one would fit in the concole.
