Project Dirty Datsun.. (the brown turd)

Well its about time i threw up one of these i suppose :o Been stuck in drifting along time now so i may as well give ye a quick run down on it :rolleyes:

Started off many moons ago in this, a Kadet with a 2.0 8v vectra engine in it, some dinger :D

Then soon progressed onto my dream car since i was a young lad :D

This was all goin well, got some good results in it in Novice at the time in PD, pic above was me grabbing second place in Mondello :D

But all good things usually come to an end for me and they did with this in a big way thanks to a country road drift accident :( :(

Next up was this though ;)

A 325 e36

I ended up breaking this lots though which in turn broke me :(

Move forward about 2yrs and around 2months ago i decided to give drifting another go... This time with something completely new for me... Q the Datsun!

So there it is anyway! Got the car with no engine or box...Pretty much sorted apart from that..

Plan is to, RB20 it with a big top mount turbo.. Sort some proper lock and go tag some walls :D

Pickin up bits as i go but money is scarce!

Jeeez...Rosegreen one has to be 6yrs ago or more?? The mondello one is surely 4-5 yrs ago again....Im bad with this stuff so im open to correction :o

Right, i'll throw up 2 more pics of lolly... These are old pics belong to someone else but car still looks the same anyway! Apart from the wheels.

Car spec/plans are :

Fits the RB20 which i have,
Figure out what ecu to run/mappin
Top mounted Holset turbo, on the way!
Exedy paddle clutch which i have,
Sort out lots of lock...I mean fuck loads of it! + Move rack forward and maybe modify bottom arms
Wheels, sorting this at the moment

So spec at the moment is,

RB20, Holset turbo & external waste gate,
RB20 box time 1 million spares :D & exedy clutch
GAB coilovers
Rear camber arms
Hicass lock out bar
Subframe locking collars
3.7 welded diff, so i was told anyway!

Pretty basic really, but will do the job ;)

dont forget the rb,s dont like much boost standard;)

Yea have a 25 as well frank but thats not goin in for a while ;)

Haha the only grinder work that will be done for now lad is some lock mods, other than that i just plan on makin it reliable and get plenty of seat time :)

HX30.. Ah their well able for it with a good map :D Might be interested in them injectors, PM me a good price ;)
