all the good bits survived with only a few scratches including most importantly John himself which was lucky considering it was a very sudden stop from nearly 50mph when he hit it... Who knows what the inital entry speed was.
I'm sure the M3 will be back in no time in some sort or reincarnation or other.

While Qualifying John decided that he wasn't happy with some of the work that was done to the car so he decided to make a few modifications of his own. Unfortunately this involved killing the car.

He Qualified 6th and lost his first twin battle against Michael sheen in his brothers standard blue m3.
Rd 2 should see the yellow beast re-shelled and screaming again
fair fucks to john for gettin straight back into the seat and qualifying in a car he never drove,compared to the spec of the cars he was against on sunday he done really well,be good to see him back in the yellow thing again,busy 5 weeks ahead:p
just seen the pics and thank god he's ok!!! and it's a bitch after he did all the work on it!!!!!! but a car can be replaced so thank god he's ok!:)

He had a camera inside alright but unfortunately forgot to turn it on for that run. He has a shell alright but sound anyways lads.

sorry you are correct the 318is had 8 more valves and a massive speed increase of 7mph (is FTW)
