Your NOT meant to stop whatsoever on track if theres an accident or obstruction ahead, just slow and pass. And if red flags are out then head for pits!!! Thats my understanding anyway. If ppl all stop everywhere more accidents will happen.
Thats a bad off alright, would give ya a shock.
If they had of stopped and got out of there car, there would have got a bollocking off mondelo, your not meant to leave your car.

tenko twinky ya twas a good cam irish plates 85 well set up that lad has a few sr20det and supercharged 1s,i dunno about the ecu makeing throttle sticking open didnt seem like it to me!!!!

both lads well able for it paul put in a good few fast laps nic and nic with evo 5:cool:

dats why the first thing your told in ur briefing is if you break dwn,or have a smash YOU DO NOT GET OUT OF UR CAR!!!! on the off chance ders a wally comin round da track flakin it!!!!and you do not stop to check if everyone is ok tis a bit of a prick i no but you get a serious grillin if ya do it any orther way!!!

well fuck me i'd be heart broken ! Glad to hear no one was hurt :-)
there was a good few tips above that day, conditions were very changable and caught a few lads off guard.
seen this as well after it crashed.looks like a fair smack...but being a hero??didnt look like it there.think i know who owns it and hes a sound enough lad
I wouldn't call it "being a hereo" either. The chap was just enjoying his car and drving it as hard a s possible on a track, which is what you do at trackdays. Unfortunately he ran out of talent and crashed. It could have happened to any of us.
id be gutted if that was my car . they were lucky they didnt get hurt

he was driving pretty hard and it was damp there. been to alot of track days in mondello and been to the ring alot so seen plenty of bad accidents even the most experienced drivers get caught out. just saying being a first track day you drive as best as you can not the best the car can give. i have seen plenty of inexperienced drivers wrap alot more expensive machinery all because they under estimated how hard it is to drive fast and keep control
