do you need a full license for the modello drift days??
altho €150 is a bit dear aint it? considering tullow is only €40
the prodrift one is on the 24th july, prob cheaper then 150.
Im going aswell, hope we can keep it together this time bart :D
Mondello is serious crack!!!!
im deffo going, after all the good remarks i heard the last time plus il be dyin for tracktime in the new car!!!
Ill be away that week:(:D:p Mondello is prob not the best place for my yolk and me to finally get sum skidding in:p
Ye you need a full license alrite, and as bart said its completely different from tullow!
Its an international race circuit so its going to be expensive but the layout for drift practice is realy good, plenty of track time in fairness and its sorta mid country so not too far to travel for some..
Stick you names down on the list so we can see who's going and mayb keep a gang of us together!
I'll be under the DI gazzebo so park near that if ya's can to have all the craic!
1 : Jay
2: Bart
3: Den
4: Frankae86
5: Pt_y2k
Sounds like i just might have to do this one myself too!
Good man franky and yes darragh.. YOU HAVE TO!!!!
What sort of numbers are to be expected at these practice days? and do yee think its good value for the money seein as ya can do a tullow or nutts day for 50 snots,
ah i know to well its total diff from tullow lads, i was taken da piss! :p
damn with the full license :o
Well if there was a crew goin from DI then it would be a cool outting but havin said that nutts is on again on the 18th and theres still talk of a proper DI day round the end of july, decisions decisions, iv been to nutts twice now and am just gettin the hang of slidin up there but would love to get a blast up in mondello, what to do folks, HELP!
FECK YOU JAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!
I'll be there fo sho! dunno about the 86 though :(
:)
Yea i was thinking the same but i just cant resist mondello!! there'll still be more nutts events later in the year too!
And as ya say a DI crew would be great craic in mondello, and the time attack cars are great to watch too!
€150 is pricey but i thinks its well worth it!
Hoping there wont be a huge crowd with oxygen and other things happening that weekend!
one the other lads booked in today.. only 4 spots left:eek:
Working in Oxygen woulda defo gone to spectate tho, dont fancy takin a craic at mondello just yet :)
Goin to take a spin up to spectate this one, get an idea of how it run and that, budget wont streach for anything else just now,:(
myself and another one the lads booked in few days ago red s15 and a r32 skyline
@bart they told me only for places left too and denis healy told me 4 hours before i booked there was only four places left bit weird:confused: good tactics on there behalf i guess im booked intersting to see how many groups they have this time out
Ahhhh nutsack! Will be on a stag that weekend........and the car will be running 100% too :(
Think i might be heading up to this too, just have to find time to get the car going.
The last day out in Mondello was something else! beemer vs twincam!!
I know i lad thats booked in and going to pulling out coz his engine wont be ready, anybody on here want to go? so ye can swap details or whatever..
I kinda lost my license, how strict are the up there
Would i be able to get out without it ??
You'll have to ask someone else about the lisence,
I wont have a definate till the weekend or the start of next week but im 99% sure he wont be going.
Ya nearly always need your license up there Paul..
Don't mean to be blunt or anything, but they won't let you anywhere near the track with out your licence!I'd ring up now and talk to them. Or just go to the tax office and get a new one!
About the lisence thing the only reasson i ask is cas i cant find mine
at the moment (but will hav it sorted for then)
And a lad i know i was at two of these drift days up there and he said
they dont give a shit about your lisence and even said that the last time
he was up there their their was a yound lad of only 14 out on track
so he defo didnt have one!
thats the time attack day isnt it??
For the normal track days and the race school and all that their very strict about your licence. Can't see the drift practice being any different, but maybe its changed.
Its all booked up boys jus off the phone to them
I booked the last two spaces yesterday for myself and Jay!
